Mrs. Myrtle A. Gresham, age 92, of Dublin, died Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Shamrock Nursing Home & Rehab Center following an extended illness. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Savannah at 11:30AM. Rev. Ben Edwards will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
She was born in Effingham County and later was employed and lived in Savannah doing clerical work. She was active member of Bible Baptist Church until her health began to fail. She was a lady who loved her family dearly and was a friend to all. She was preceded in death by her parents Homer Melvin Ambrose and Annie Murray Ambrose; husbands, Edward James Clark and Paul Gresham; and son, Gerald W. Clark.
Survivors include her two sons; Edward Eugene (Joan) Clark and Ronald Kaye (Elsie) Clark, both of Savannah; daughter, Barbara Faye (Ben) Edwards of Dublin; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
