Services for Myrtle Hart Page, age 102, of Dublin, will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Jefferson Street Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Jay Moore will officiate. Mrs. Page was a member of Jefferson Street Baptist Church and the Cain & Abel Choir. She retired from J.P. Stevens after 37 years of service. She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Hart and mother, Annie Barfield Hart and her husband, Dessie Leon Page. She passed away on Monday, April 9, 2012. She is survived by her daughter, Myrlene Pinson and son-in-law Joe Pinson, of Hartwell, GA; grandson, Joe Pinson, Jr. of Lawrenceville, GA; granddaughter, Sandra Evans of Hoschton, GA and seven great-grandchildren. Family members will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday prior to the service from 1PM until 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Jefferson Street Baptist Church or to the Laurens County Humane Society.
