Services for Myrtle K. Veal, age 78 of Dublin, will be held 2:00 PM. Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Poplar Springs South Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Rentz Cemetery. Rev. Harvey Benton, Rev. Lewis Miller, Rev. Larry Waldrep and Rev. Michael Brooks will officiate. Mrs. Veal was born in Dublin, November 29, 1931, the daughter of the late William Kinchen and the late Adell Fordham Kinchen. She was a Christian of Church of God in Dublin, GA and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother great grandmother and great great grandmother, and sister. She was owner and operator of Eastside Fish Market for many years and was a retail sales person for 10 years and was a homemaker and devoted wife. She will be missed by all. Mrs. Veal was preceded in death by her brothers, Johnny Kinchen, Arce Kinchen, Freelon Kinchen, son in law, Gene Brooks and brother in law, Douglas Veal. She is survived by her husband, J. C. Veal, children, Linda Sue White, Bobby Clarence (Wynette) Veal, John Wayne (Betty Faye) Veal, Judy Lynn Veal, Clara Jean Brooks, grandchildren, Kim L. White (Joey Wynn), Tim Veal, Jason (Tara) Veal, Tommy (Chrissy) Veal, Kela Horne (Jason) Collins, Josh Horne, Ashley Brooks, step grandchildren, Michael (Stacey) Brooks, Kevin Brooks, Richard Scott, Krystal Scott, great grandchildren, Jessica (Eric) Leucke, Whitney Tarpley, Brandon Veal, Justin Veal, Hunter Veal, Peyton Veal, Jake Collins, Monica, Michaela, Jacob, and Elisabeth Brooks, great great grand child, Haleigh Franks, brother, Rudolph Kinchen, sister in law, Mona Faye Veal. Tim Veal, Jason Veal, Tommy Veal, Josh Horne, Joey Wynn, Doug Veal, will serve as pallbearers. Dean Veal, Melvin Veal, Hunter Veal, Peyton Veal, Brandon and Justin Veal will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
