Nadine Glover Edwards, age 89, of Dublin, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016.

Services will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Jefferson Street Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Northview Cemetery. Rev. Darren Talley will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Tuesday evening at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Mrs. Edwards retired from J.C. Penney after 35 years as the shoe department and catalog supervisor. She was a member of Jefferson Street Baptist Church and the Good Sam Camping Club. She also served as secretary for the Woodmen of the World Lodge 189 for 45 years and as a youth girls Sunday School Teacher at Minter Baptist Church and Jefferson Street Baptist Church for many years. Her passions were gardening and quilting. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dessie and Bernice Hart Glover and husbands, Dewey Bush and Hubert Edwin Edwards, Sr.

Survivors include her son, Edwin Edwards (Angela), from Dublin; grandsons, Matthew Edwards (Ashley) and Dustin Edwards (Emily), both of Dudley, and Morgan Edwards of Dublin; great-granddaughter, Ollie Reese Edwards; sister, Annie Merle Smith of East Dublin and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Edwards, Dustin Edwards, Curtis Edwards, Robert Earl Edwards, Steve Edwards, Johnny Holton, Darron Rowe, and Gil Allen.
