On this day, Monday, June 10, 2013, Naomie (Bebe) Hood left this world to be reunited in heaven with the love of her life, Jack Hood (husband). Bebe is survived by her two devoted daughters, Nancy Hood Brewer and Kathy Hood Ray, her sons in law, Will Brewer (husband of Nancy Hood) and Paul Ray (husband of Kathy Hood) and her only grandson, Adam Brewer. Adam Brewer was a precious gift to his grandmother and the only grandchild. Bebe lived life with God at the forefront of each decision. She was a beautiful woman with a sweetness and compassion that touched everyone she encountered. She worked tirelessly as one of God's servants to help others as she served in the Pilot Club, Lifeline, Springdale Baptist Church and several other ministries; however it didn't stop there. Her presence as Senior Merchandise Manager for 36 years with JC Penney Co. in Dublin, GA was a platform to interact with many others allowing her to make the difference that God had chosen for her. This brave woman has encountered many obstacles during her time on earth, but graciously worked through each one with a smile, a positive attitude and the determination to always do the right thing. Today she received her many well deserved crowns in heaven. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home, with graveside services to be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Dublin Memorial Gardens.
