Funeral services for Nathan Wolfe Garner, age 54, will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at Bethsaida Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Jerry Collins will officiate. Nathan was a lifelong resident of Dublin. He was born with special needs and cared for by his loving family. He died Monday, December 26, 2011, at his home. Survivors include his parents, Ralph and Esther Wolfe Garner, of Dublin; brother, Dr. Steven (Lee) Garner, of Dublin; nephew, Evan Garner, of Augusta; niece, Dorrie Garner, of Dublin; and aunts, Mertie W. Pennington, and Martha W. Flanders, both of Dublin. Pallbearers will be Tommy Craft, Larry Curry, Ray Curry, John Flanders, Frank Hobbs, Jonathan Kowtko, Dr. Billy Moses and Alan Wolfe. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at Bethsaida Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
