Funeral service for Nell S. Corry, age 87, of Dublin, will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 30, 2016, in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Dr. Joel Dent and Rev. Wes Moye will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Corry died Friday, August 26, 2016.

Mrs. Corry was a member of Pine Forest United Methodist Church. She loved gardening and polka music. Her family was her life.

Mrs. Corry was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse James and Maudie Mae Grooms Schultz; brothers and sisters, Albert Schultz, Walter Schultz, Jess Schultz, Fannie Woods, Louise Heinz, Maudie Bernice Swindle, Estelle Patton, Dolly Little, and Lillian Patton

Survivors include her husband of sixty-eight years, Frank Corry, of Dublin; children, Beth C. (Alvin) Brown, of Dublin, Joe (Tina) Corry, of Cadwell; grandchildren, Stephanie L. Wood, of Dudley, Christopher C. (Candi) Brown, of Warner Robins; great grandchildren, Benton, Logan, and Emma Laine Wood, and Stryker and Tatum Brown; brother, Paul Ray "Shorty" Schultz, of Birmingham; and special friend and caretaker, Opal Nelson.

Christopher Brown, Richie Howard, Chris McCullars, Greg Wood, Alvin Brown, and Brent McCullars will serve as pallbearers.
