Funeral services for Nell Hanson Perry, age 80 of Dublin, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 25, 2010 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Dr. Jack Key will officiate. Mrs. Perry was the daughter of the late James Hanson and the late Nellie Virine Spivey. She was a homemaker and Methodist by faith. She was preceded in death by three brothers; Hubert Hanson, Edgar Hanson and James Hanson and two sisters, Louise Daniel and Reba Esposito. Mrs. Perry passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2010. Mrs. Perry is survived by her husband, Mitchell Perry of Dublin; son, Russell (Kathryn) Perry of Ballground; three granddaughters; Angela Perry, Jenya Perry and Victoria Perry all of Ballground, six sisters; Helen Leverette, Lettie Dixon and Joyce Hancock all of Dublin, Wanda Harden of St. Simmons, Paula Waters of Soperton and Grace Edge of Uvalda, three brothers; Johnny Hanson of Nashville, TN, and Darwin Hanson and Roy Hanson both of Soperton and several nieces and nephews. Glen Leverette, Jason Leverette, David Perry, Jr., Justin Perry, Trent Wood and Brandon Wood will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home on Friday night from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
