Services for Nellene Wood Bracewell, age 63 of Dexter, will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mount Carmel Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Martin will officiate. Ms. Bracewell died Saturday, September 25, 2010. Ms. Bracewell was a lifelong resident of Laurens County. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles A. Wood. Ms. Bracewell was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Survivors include her children, Christy Bracewell, Jamie Bracewell, Chuck (Kim) Bracewell all of Dublin, her mother, Nell Wood of Dexter, brothers and sister, Raymond Wood, Joan Duke and Wayne Wood all of Dexter, Grandchildren, Emily Bracewell, Ethan Bracewell, A. J. Bracewell, Alec Bracewell and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jamie Bracewell, Chuck Bracewell, Jarrett Wood, Rick Parato, Chris Brooks, and Archie Roberson. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
