Mrs. Ola Williams Arnold, 91, of Dublin, Georgia passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 30, 2017 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home in Dublin, Georgia. Burial will follow at Poplar Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery in Adrian, Georgia. Rev. James Sampley will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M.at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Arnold was born on February 6, 1926 in Johnson County. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Lillie Williams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, C.E. Arnold and daughter, Vicki Arnold Tucker, and numerous brothers and sisters. Mrs. Arnold was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church. She was retired from Sears. She is survived by her son Bobby Arnold (Dorothy) of Wimberley, Texas. She is also survived by grandsons Britt Tucker of Roswell, Georgia and Forrest Arnold of Austin, Texas. Surviving sibling is Billy Williams (Martha) of Macon, Georgia. Surviving son-in-law is Harris Tucker of Tifton, Georgia. Other survivors include sisters-in-law MyrticeWilliams of Dublin and Emily Meyer of Decatur, Georgia, numerous nephews and nieces, and dear friends Randy and Ivey Wilkins of Dublin. Ray Beck, Larry Drew, Jackson Fordham, Steve Freeman, Jerry Hall, Melton Tyson,Randy Wilkins, and Lex Williams will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Cemetery Fund of Poplar Springs United Methodist Church, P.O. Box165 Adrian, Georgia 31002.
