Ora T. Beacham, age 80, of East Dublin, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 15, 2016. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Services will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 11:00AM at Bethlehem Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Matt Haywood, Rev. Marty Beacham and Rev. Jeremy Ikner will officiate. Pallbearers will be Michael Clay, Joe McCoy, Mickey Beacham, Brian Raffield, Lowell Beacham and Thomas Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be member of the Nan Linder Sunday School Class. Mrs. Beacham was a graduate of Wilkes High School. She married her husband, Eddie, on May 10, 1957 and they spent 59 wonderful years together. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and the Nan Linder Sunday School Class. Mrs. Beacham was a 12 year Breast Cancer Survivor and a loving, caring, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Aughtie Stewart Thomas and 14 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband, Eddie Beacham of East Dublin; sons, Andy (Jennie) Beacham and Pat (Lynn) Beacham, both of East Dublin; daughter, Lori (Butch) Clay of East Dublin; grandchildren, Michele (Joe) McCoy of Wrightsville, Michael (Mandi) Clay, Ginger Thompson, Mickey (Rena) Beacham, Brian Raffield and Lowell (Ashley) Beacham, all of East Dublin; sisters, Kadel Williams of Soperton and Adel (Baum) Wilkes of Augusta; brother, Paul (Alma) Thomas of Ocilla, 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
