Owen Daniels, Born in Soperton, GA, on January 1, 1943, and Died peacefully, just shy of his 79 birthday, on December 12, 2021.  Owen was the son of the late Jasper and Marie Jackson Daniels.

He will be greeted in Heaven by his brother, Douglas "Duck" Daniels, and sisters, Ada Graham and Carolyn Copeland Smith.

Owen is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ellen Hardin Daniels; sons, Tim (Michelle), Kenneth (Lisa), Tindel (Pam), and Kindel (Michelle); 15 Grandchildren and 24 Great Grandchildren; and his Brothers, J.W. Daniels and Truman Daniels.

He loved camping and fishing with his boys until they were grown and had families of their own.  His guilty pleasure was watching the soap opera, Bold and Beautiful.

A twinkling in his eyes and a smile always appeared when he saw his grandbabies and great grandbabies!

Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, December 15, 2021, 5 – 7 pm at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

A graveside funeral is scheduled for Thursday, December 16, 2021, at 1 pm at Dublin Memorial Gardens.
