Services for Ozelle H. Mullis, age 83 of Dublin, will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Springdale Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Paul Wilkes will officiate. Mrs. Mullis was a member of Springdale Baptist Church. She was retired from BilJo Manufacturing as a seamstress. She was the daughter of the late J.E. Horne and Minnie Coleman Horne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Prentice D. Mullis; daughter, Diane Brown; brothers, Johnny Horne, Wilbur Horne and Walter Horner; sister, Myrtle Lee Hodge and sons-in-law, David McCollough and Jimmie Stevens. Mrs. Mullis passed away on Monday, April 22, 2013. She is survived by a son, Glynn (Yvonne) Mullis of Dublin; daughters, Linda (Fred) Harvey, Sandra McCollough and Jane (Tom) Klassen, all of Dublin; grandchildren, Keela (Doug) Brownlee, Karla (David) Hitt, Brandon Mullis, Holly (Stacey) Sapp, Shelly (Dewayne) Carr, Chris Harvey, Kim (Mike) Ward, Kay (Patrick) Schwerin, David (Hope) Stevens, Ashley (Brian) Renfroe and Cory (Asia) Klassen; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother, George (Faye) Horne of Savannah and son-in-law, Andy Brown of Cadwell. Pallbearers will be David Stevens, Brandon Mullis, Chris Harvey, Cory Klassen, Dillon Ward, Jesse Powell and Kade Powell.
