A memorial service for Patricia Ann Fennell, age 74, of Dexter, will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Rev. Larry Waldrep will officiate. Mrs. Fennell died Sunday, February 26, 2017.

Mrs. Fennell enjoyed working with flowers, making pear preserves, and her secret pecan pies. She enjoyed traveling with her daughter. Mrs. Fennell was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Fennell; parents, Freddie Howard and Willie Mae Wheless Hollis; brothers, Freddie Hollis, Richard Hollis, and Jimmy Hollis; and sisters, Faynette Bales, Frances Norris, and Martha Morris. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Darsey (Danny) Smith.
