Patricia Joan Mullis, age 76, passed Sunday, January 15, 2023.

She was born in Laurens County on April 8, 1946 to the late Ishmael Elmo Cooper Sr. and the late Lillie Mae (Kight) Cooper. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. She loved shopping, her grandbabies, and her managerial position at the Incredible Chocolate Chip Company in the Dublin Mall, where she worked for over 17 years. She had a huge impact on raising and modeling the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to keep everyone around her laughing. More than these things, she deeply loved her Lord Jesus Christ.

Mrs. Mullis is preceded in death by her parents, Ishmael Elmo Cooper Sr. and Lillie Mae (Kight) Cooper.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Darrell Mullis, Jr. of Dublin; daughters, Jennifer (Tommy) Graham and Teresa Mullis both of Dublin; grandchildren, Candace (Dealous, Jr.) Williams, Jessica Pittman, Carmen-Rae Graham, and Casie Graham all of Dublin; great-grandchildren, Joshua Neesmith, Hunter Register, Trey Williams, Lillie Williams, Jessyln Sellers, and Jace Sellers all of Dublin; brother, Ishmael Elmo Cooper "Bubba", Jr. of Eastman; as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Services will be held Monday, January 16, 2023 at New Bethel Baptist Church at 3pm with burial to follow at the church cemetery. The family will accept friends one hour before the service at New Bethel Baptist Church. Pastor Tyler Daniel and Rev. Ken Rodgers will officiate.

Pallbearers include Dealous Williams, Jr., Trey Williams, Joshua Neesmith, Tony Stracener, Tommy Graham, and Logan Ward.
