Patsy Turkett, age 84, of Cadwell, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2017. Mrs. Turkett was a member of Rentz Baptist Church. She retired from Clair-Mel Elementary School where she worked in the lunchroom. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan Columbus Maloy and Jewell Jordon; ex-husband, James H. Turkett; and siblings, Jordan Maloy, Iris Hall, and Jane Ferri. Survivors include her children, Steve Turkett (Jeany), and Mike Turkett (Alice), both of Tampa, FL, Gwen Upshaw (Roho), and Jeff Turkett, both of Cadwell; grandchildren, Kristi Taylor (Mike), Justin Turkett, and Sherry Turkett, all of Tampa, FL, Desireé Easen (Jeremy), of Largo, FL, Amanda Brown (Kyle), of Gray, GA, Chad Upshaw (Stacey), and Ethan Upshaw (Ashleigh), both of Cadwell, Jessica Stevens (Jesse), of Rentz, and Cotton Turkett, of Waycross; 17 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great- grandchildren. Services for Mrs. Turkett will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Rentz Baptist Church with burial to follow in Rentz Cemetery. Bro. Tom Vann will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until funeral hour on Tuesday at the church. Pallbearers will be Clifton Smith, Keith Beck, Dan Rowe, Edwin Avery, Kenneth Beck, Steve Mullis, and Brent Redfern.
