Services for Peggy Smalley Roper, age 76, of Dublin, will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 8, 2015, in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Billy Daws will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2:00 PM. Mrs. Roper died Friday, November 6, 2015. Mrs. Roper was a member of Jefferson Street Baptist Church. She loved her family and her cats, and enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Mrs. Roper was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Delia Wilbanks Smalley, daughter, Teresa Pritchard; brothers, Ed Smalley, Charles Smalley; sisters, Louise Whiten, Gladys Graham, Dot Hodges; and companion, Bob Morris. Survivors include her daughter, Katrina (Tim) Stuckey, of Dublin; grandchildren, Shelley (Russ) Tanner, of Watkinsville, Kristin (Craig) Moses, of McDonough, Timothy (Allie Beth) Stuckey, Jr., of Athens, Alli Pritchard, of Dublin; great grandchildren, Carleigh Tanner, Ret Tanner, Maddox Tanner, Lincoln Moses, Lindon Moses, Linox Moses; brother, James (Juanita) Smalley, of Smyrna. Russ Tanner, Craig Moses, Timothy Stuckey, Jr., Scott Warnock, Robert Tanner, and Don Beck will serve as pallbearers.
