Peter Plodek, age 69, of Dublin, passed away on February 28, 2022, at his residence.

Mr. Plodek was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving from 1974-1987. He was employed as an engineer with Pratt & Whitney for 29 years before retirement. He was preceded in death by his father, George Plodek, and his mother, Eva Lesankova.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Lee Plodek of Dublin; son, Peter Plodek and his children, Peter Jacob Plodek and Sarah Eva Plodek, all of California; son, Michael Paul Plodek, and his children, Sebastain Plodek and Ethan Asher Plodek, all of Virginia; son, David Alan Plodek, and his son, Miko Plodek, both of New Zealand; and sister, Susie Nearman, of Reno, NV.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. An interment, with military honors, will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville, Ga.
