Charles Phillip "Phil" Melton, age 67, of Dublin, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2016 in Carl Vinson VA Medical Center, Hospice Center.

Services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Graham Memorial Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, Pastor David Canen and Pastor Janice Laster will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Billy Jaudon, Brad Thomas, Jordan Hardin, Ryan Junior, Scott Melton and Kyle Meton.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Mr. Melton was a veteran of the United States Navy and a self employed contractor. He was a member of the Laurens County Sportsman Club and an avid fisherman and gardener. He loved to cook and was an awesome grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emory and Clio Wilkes Melton.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Melton, of Dublin; sons, Billy Jaudon, of Dublin and Andy Jaudon, of East Dublin; daughter, Teresa Graham, of East Dublin; brothers, Glynn Melton (Yvonne) and Don Melton (Gwen), both of Dublin and Ricky Melton (Lynn), of Glenwood; five grandchildren, Brittany Soles, Caitlin Lucas, Jordan Hardin, James Jaudon and Jenna "Sweet Pea" Jaudon and several nieces and nephews.
