Randy Dale Tanner, age 57, of Dublin passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 28, 2022, after a brief illness. He was born on January 30, 1965, to his parents Talmadge Tanner and Joyce Labeau Tanner.

Randy was a kind-hearted soul who made friends easily and never met a stranger. He was a furniture/cabinet maker by trade and was very well known for his skill. He learned his trade after high school working for Bassett Furniture until its closing. He then went on to work for Evans Cabinet Co. until his illness.

He is preceded in death by parents Talmadge and Joyce Labeau Tanner, brother Ricky Tanner, paternal grandparents Oscar and Annie Tanner, and maternal grandparents Bert and Alma LaBeau.

He is survived by his daughter, Damin Tanner Evans (Brandon), and sons Cody Tanner, Ryan Tanner (Breanna), and Antonio Stanley. Grandchildren Jamin, Bryceton, Brielle, Winsley, and Wrenley Tanner. He is also survived by sister/caretaker Debbie Jessup and brother Tony Tanner (Robyn). Special companion Keashea Murray, and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Compassus Hospice for their special care and support during this difficult time. Randy had a special love for his nurse Kathy Hart, LPN. Also, the family would like to thank all of the many friends/family for the visits, calls, and prayers. It meant the world to Randy.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
