Graveside services for Ray M. Kennedy, age 65 of Dexter will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, March 1, 2013 at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Charles Lowery and Mr. Mike Peacock will officiate. Mr. Kennedy was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Dexter. He was the son of the late Gordon Kennedy and the late Rubye Myers Kennedy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Kennedy. He passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2013. He is survived by sisters, Sara Jean (Charles) Allen of Dexter and Elta Jo Warock in Dexter; brother-in-law, William Jackson of Hawkinsville and sister-in-law Glenda (Dan) Cohen Red Boiling Springs, TN and host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
