Services for Rex Allen Morgan, Sr. age 62, of Dublin, will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, April 4, 2015, at Woodland Heights Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Piney Mount Cemetery. Rev. Harrell Rogers will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Mr. Morgan died Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Mr. Morgan was a member of Woodland Heights Baptist Church and a self employed roofer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Francis Morgan, parents, Roy Morgan and Mary Lawrence Morgan, and daughter, Betty Ann Smith. Survivors include his children, Rex Allen (Christina) Morgan, Jr., Amanda Crabb, both of Cadwell, Leroy (Amanda) Morgan, Lisa Smith, Dorothy Marie Carter, all of Dublin; twenty grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; sisters, Faye McCumbers, Dell Francis, both of Oak Park, Barbara (Ernest) Gibson, of Milledgeville; brother, Benny Morgan, of Florida; several nieces and nephews. Nieces will serve as pallbearers.
