Mr. Richard Alan Carver, age 68, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Fairview Park Hospital.

Mr. Carver was born November 7, 1953, in Quantico, Virginia; he was preceded in death by his father, the late Douglas Carver, Sr. and his brother, Douglas Carver, Jr.

He retired from the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of St. Petersburg, Florida after 35 years of service. His favorite pastimes were visiting all the many springs of Florida and camping.

He is survived by his mother, Nelmer "Nell" Linton of East Dublin; two daughters, Meagan Carver of St. Petersburg, FL, and Sonya Carver of East Dublin; a sister, Cathy Brogan of East Dublin; two grandsons, Brandon Carver and Brantley Beauchamp both of East Dublin; a granddaughter, Jayden Hall-Carver; his step-daughter, Michelle Crain, and his best friend, Buddy.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 11, 2022,in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
