Services for Richard Eugene Holloway, age 65, of Dublin will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 8, 2013 in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Mike Mertz and Mr. Edward Clements will officiate. Mr. Holloway died Sunday, January 5, 2014. Mr. Holloway graduated from East Laurens High School. He was of the Baptist faith and a devoted son and brother. Mr. Holloway was preceded in death by his father, David Holloway, and brother, Harold Holloway. Survivors include his mother, Rilla Holloway; brother, Vernon (Brenda) Holloway, all of Dublin; nephew, Jack Holloway, of Tennessee; niece, Janet Neil, of Michigan; and five great nieces and nephews. Jack Holloway, Vernon Holloway, Herbert McTier, David Norris, Kenneth Evans, and Ricky Rich will serve as pallbearers.
