Services for Ricky E. McDaniel, age 58, of East Dublin, will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 24, 2015, at First Independent Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Pleasant Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Paul Brown will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM. Mr. McDaniel died Tuesday, December 22, 2015.

Mr. McDaniel, a native of Laurens County, was a member of First Independent Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Elmo McDaniel and Gloria Kight. Mr. McDaniel was a graduate of Treutlen County High School and a former employee of Southeast Paper Company. He loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren were his heart.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Graham McDaniel, of East Dublin; children, Eric Nicholas (Jennifer) McDaniel, of Adrian, Heather McDaniel Rozier, of East Dublin; grandchildren, Noah Rozier, of East Dublin, Faith McDaniel, of Adrian; sisters, Luci Dalby, of Mt. Vernon, Lawana (Dwight) Newsome, of Vidalia, Sue (Dan) Cauley, of Soperton, Lisa Phillips, of Soperton, Christy (Davis) Brinson, of Tarrytown, brother, Gilbert (Gail) McDaniel, of Mt. Vernon; and stepmother, Stella McDaniel, of Soperton.

Daniel Giddens, Stan Bennett, Jason Randolph, Glen O'Neal, Mark McDaniel, Matt Kitchens will serve as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Johnson, Joey Padgett, Kenny Kight, Larry Kight, and Ted Calhoun.
