Services for Ricky Lee Wilkinson, age 57, of Dublin, will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, August 8, 2014 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Rev. Curtis Warnock will officiate. He passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2014. Mr. Wilkinson was born in Las Vegas, NV. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Wilkinson was employed with Wilkinson Transporters for many years and then worked with Greg Roche. Ricky loved fishing, bowling, race cars and spending time with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his son, "Little Ricky;" and grandparents, Rita Dollar, James Williamson, Alice Todd Wilkinson, and Lucious Wilkinson. Survivors include his parents, Charley Wilkinson and Louise Wilkinson of Dublin; children, Dusty Wilkinson, Alicia Wilkinson, and Lea Wilkinson, all of Dublin; siblings, Ronald Wilkinson, Donald Wilkinson, Doug Wilkinson, Gail Bearss, all of Dublin, and Erica Purvis of Rentz; grandchildren, Alex Wilkinson and Dylan Wilkinson of Dublin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
