Dr. Ridley M. Glover, age 92, formerly of Dublin, passed away Friday, March 3, at a local hospital in Athens, GA.

Dr. Glover was born February 6, 1931 in LaGrange, Georgia; he was preceded in death by his parents, the late Fred Mack Glover and Mary E. Johnson; his step-mother, Lillian Glover; two sisters, Elizabeth "Libby" Dalon and Linnie Belle Cromwell and a brother, Daniel Glover. He retired as Chief Radiologist of Fairview Park Hospital after many years of service with Middle Georgia Radiology. He was a member of the Georgia Woodturners Association, Dublin-Laurens Arts Council, Dublin Moose Lodge # 1609, Dublin Elk's Lodge #1646, Dublin Country Club, Christ Episcopal Church, Dublin Civic Theatre, Ducks Unlimited, Dublin Hunting Club and Dublin's Order of Shillelagh. He was also a veteran of the United States Air Force and served as United States Air Force Assistant Surgeon General.

Dr. Glover is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dolores (Dee) Glover; their daughters Sandra Glover Gagnon (Ross) of Boone, NC, Rebecca Glover Kudon (Lou) of Lexington, GA, and Patrice Thomas (Dewey) of Savannah, GA; grandchildren Sam Gagnon of Denver, CO, and Josie Gagnon of Boone, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

His family will receive visitors from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home, 215 West Jackson St., Dublin.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M., Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Dublin Memorial Gardens with Rev. Don Randall officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions, in memory of Dr. Glover, be made to the Radiologic Technology Program, Oconee Fall Line Technical College, 560 Pinehill Road, Dublin, Georgia 31021.
