Rita Lumley's Obituary
Rita Lumley, age 65, of East Dublin, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2017.
Mrs. Lumley was born and raised in Laurens County. She retired from Fred's Distribution Center. She was a cancer survivor who faithfully followed the Lord. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy Warnock and Charlie Mae Warnock; sister, Royce Reece, and brothers, David Warnock, and Jay Roy Warnock.
Survivors include her children, Marshall Hartley and Michelle Hall, both of East Dublin, and Harry Stanley (Joe Clark), of Atlanta; brother, Donald Warnock (Janice), of Dublin; grandchildren, Josh Henry and Ashley Johnson; sisters, Leasa Brandenburg, Joy Graham and Tracie Gillikin, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Curtis Warnock will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00PM until funeral hour at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Chris Studdard, Bret Larsen, Wesley Hartley, Johnie Fowler, Mark Warnock, and Reece Lewis.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
