Robert Francis Hakes, Jr., age 47 of Dublin passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2010. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Dudley Baptist Church. Rev. Gerald Frazier and Rev. Billy Daws will officiate. Mr. Hakes was a graduate of West Laurens High School and from the Atlanta Art Institute. He worked in store decorating in Atlanta and Orlando, Florida. He is survived by his father, Robert F. Hakes, Sr. of Dublin. He is also survived by a sister, Stephanie A. Hester of Monticello and a brother, Royce R. Hakes of Denver, Co. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dudley Baptist Church Building Fund, 1425 Second St., Dudley, GA 31022.
