Robert D. Sapp, age 67, of Dublin, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019.

Mr. Sapp was a native of Laurens County. He worked for Seaboard Coastline Railroad until he purchased Meaders-Fuller Jewelers and took over his father's business, later becoming Sapp's Jewelers after his father's retirement.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willis J. Sapp; son, Jason Sapp; grandfather, Alton B. Dominy; grandmothers, Rosa L. Dominy and Daisy Couey.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Sapp, of Dublin; mother, Rosa Sapp, of Dublin; brother-in-law, Sonny Hobbs (Tina), of Dublin; granddaughter, Kailey L. Sapp, of Dublin, and several uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Services will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Gene Hemingway will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the funeral home from 10:00AM until funeral hour.

Pallbearers will be Adam Hobbs, Wesley Hobbs, Sid Harrison, Stacey Sapp, Michael Hooks, and Jeff Johnson.
