Robert "Dale" Thomas, age 78 of Dublin, died Friday, June 11, 2021, at Serenity Place after a brief illness.

Mr. Thomas was a devoted member of Jefferson Street Baptist Church where he served as Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and was the former sound technician. He was a good man, willing to help anyone and was the embodiment of a true Christian.  Mr. Thomas was retired from Robins Airforce Base after over 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Harden Thomas, Mary Louise Ladson Thomas, and a son Christopher Dale Thomas.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Joyce Thomas of Dublin, a son David E. Thomas (Misty) of Dublin, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren,numerous cousins and his Jefferson Street Church family.

Services for Mr. Thomas will be held at 11:00 Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Jefferson Street Baptist Church with Rev. Kyle Giddens Officiating.  Burial will follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Church Tuesday from 10:00 am until the funeral hour.

Deacons at Jefferson Street Baptist Church will serve as Pallbearers.
