Robyn Renee Green Windham, 54, entered into rest July 9, 2012 in Dublin, GA. The body has been cremated and memorial services will be held in the Chapel of Townsend Funeral Home at 5:00 PM on Thursday, July 12, 2012. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until the service hour at Townsend Funeral Home. Rev. Dan Darden will officiate. Born August 5th, 1958 in Dublin, GA, Robyn was the daughter of the late Robert and Bernice Green. She graduated from Dublin High School in 1976 and attended Georgia Southern University. Robyn worked in sales throughout her career. Robyn was a gracious and kind person, frequently thinking of others and their needs first. She loved her extended family and loved animals, always surrounded by her many pet dogs. She was an excellent cook and loved to bake and entertain. Robyn had a great sense of humor and a vibrant personality. Robyn was preceded in death by her parents Robert Earl and Bernice Green and twin brother, Robert Green, Jr.; aunts, Laura Rogers, Mary Bembry, Janice Forsythe, and Ann Adams.. She is survived by uncles, Lt. Col.(ret.) Henry L. Adams, (Cordele, GA) and Lt. Col (ret) David Forsythe, Odessa, TX,; cousins, Michael Rogers (Diane) Pensacola, FL, Ronald Rogers (Susan) Fernandina Beach, FL, Becky Dorough (Gary) Albany, GA, Belle Hicks (Pete) Odessa, TX and Steven Rogers, Milledgeville, GA. Also surviving is ex-husband, Jeffrey H. Windham. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
