Obituary

Ronald Gordon Hall, of Dry Branch, GA, passed away on August 4, 2021.

Ron was born on October 10, 1949, and was a self-employed blacksmith and horseshoer. He was featured in the PBS Documentary, "We Shall Remain", and was a Master Farrier. Mr. Hall was a member of the Georgia Professional Farrier's Association and the American Farrier's Association. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Lois S. Hall Deloach and Lawrence F. Hall Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Jean Hall, of Dry Branch, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Melanie Hall Goffinet (Brian) of Plain City, OH; step-daughter, Heather Wheeler, of Dahlonega, GA; grandchildren: Michael Malacos, Marc Malacos, Florence Wheeler, Lucy Goffinet, Nolan Wheeler, Alexander Edge, and Brady Goffinet; siblings and their spouses: Lawrence F. Hall Jr. (Terry) of John's Island, SC, Gail Hall Gunn (Frank) of Macon, Esther Hall Yarbrough ( Keith) of Warner Robins, Barbara Hall Morris, of McDonough, and Mark Hall (Raphael Sciullo) of Dun Edin, FL, as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and family on Sunday, August 8, 2021, at 2 pm, at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Services will follow at 3 pm in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home with burial to follow at Hall Cemetery in Dublin, Georgia.
