Services for Ronald Eugene Stuckey, age 63 of Rockledge, will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, March 18, 2014 in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rentz Cemetery. Rev. Darren Talley and Mr. Eric Haskins will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Stuckey died Friday, March 14, 2014. Ronnie was a Baptist and loved working with Operation Christmas Child each year at Jefferson Street Baptist Church. His earlier years were spent in the restaurant business and he always loved to cook for friends and family. Ronnie died doing what he loved; working in his yards. He loved his cabin home, fishing, and when he was able had always loved to quail hunt with a good dog! Ronnie spent many hours helping his family and friends who had given him support over the years. He was a loving person with a big heart and will be missed by those who could always depend on him. Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Fred C. Stuckey, Jr. and brother, Michael E. Stuckey. Survivors include his mother, Lillian Stuckey; sons, Stephen Bacon, and Matt Rheney; brothers, Wiley (Diane) Stuckey, Randy (Connie) Stuckey; sister, Eugenia (Jim) Haskins; aunt Jean Houston, all of Dublin; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Kevin Stuckey, Brad Stephens, Eric Haskins, Brad Haskins, Michael Stuckey, Scott Stuckey will serve as pallbearers. Eugene Kyzer, Keith McMillan, Jason McKinon, Waylon Pittman, Hank Stevenson and the staff of Christian Family Life Center will serve as honorary pallbearers.
