Ronnie A. Gay, age 65 of Dublin, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2015. Services will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Dudley Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Jeff Handley and Rev. Ken Brogdon will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:00PM until funeral hour at the church. Mr. Gay was retired from the Georgia Department of Corrections and was owner and operator of Ronnie's Deer Processing. He was a member of the Silver Spur Riding Club and the Mingo Trails Saddle Club. Ronnie loved horses and enjoyed sharing that love with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Comer Gay. Survivors include his wife, Jan Stevens Gay of Dublin; children, Ron (Lisa) Gay of Rentz, Randy (Shannon) Gay of Dublin and Robyn (Brad) Meeks of Dublin; mother, Loette Dixon Roberson of Rentz; grandchildren, Ryan Gay, Rett Gay, Madelyn Gay, Janson Meeks, Janey Meeks and Chandler Gay; two great-grandchildren, Ruger and Daxton Gay; brothers, Donnie (Jeanie) Gay of East Dublin and Delmer (Vickey) Gay of Rentz and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jamie Gay, Don Gay, Ryan Gay, Rett Gay, Ricky Slaughter, Dalton Poole, Bobby Allen, Raymond Sutton,and Jimmy Graham.
