Services for Ronnie Rogers, age 66, of Dublin, will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Dudley Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Dexter Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Billy Daws and Rev. Joe Hunter will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Rogers died Friday, September 4, 2015. Mr. Rogers was a self-employed truck driver and a member of Dudley Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sim and Luna Rogers, and sister, Evelyn Steverson. Mr. Rogers is survived by his wife of 48 years, Gail Scott Rogers; sons, Alton Rogers, Scott Rogers, and Kelly Rogers, all of Dublin, and Justin Rogers, of Macon; sister, Avalough Killingsworth of Warner Robins; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Johnny Killingsworth, Jeff Killingsworth, Zack Rogers, Lane Rogers, Bobby Gravley, Jody Fulghum, Charles Armstrong, and Delma Coleman will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Dudley Baptist Church Building Fund, 1425 2nd Street, Dudley, GA 31022 or the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, www.lls.org.
