Roy Franklin Hobbs, Jr., age 52 of Dexter, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Graveside services for immediate family only will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, August 7, 2015 in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Hobbs was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and he loved hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Franklin Hobbs, Sr., and mother, Dorothy Hobbs Hodges. He is survived by daughters, Heather Hobbs (Roe Reynolds) of Dudley and Brooke Hobbs of Dublin; sons, Justin Hobbs and B.J. Greenway, both of Dublin; grandchildren, Katelyn Hines and Raelynn Reynolds, of Dudley and Kylie Hobbs and Oliver Ratley, both of Dublin; sister, Beverly Forbes of Dublin; nephew, Christopher Forbes of Dublin and niece, Julie Forbes of Dublin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Farmers State Bank, c/o Heather Hines.
