Roy Edwin Ware, Jr., age 77, of Dudley, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017.

Mr. Ware was a member of Dudley Baptist Church and retired from Warner Robins Air Force Base. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served 20 years in the Air Force Reserves, retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray Edwin Ware, Sr. and Sara Frances Ward Ware, and wife, Coleen Dixon Ware.

Survivors include his children, Suzanne W. Wilson (Jim), of Greenville, S.C., Roy Edwin Ware, III, of Atlanta, Thomas Ramsey Ware, of Dublin, Robert Karl Ware (Michelle), of Statesboro, and Melissa Frances Rainey (Lee), of St. Simons; 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and sister, Ann Bozeman, of Dublin.

Services will be held at 1:30PM on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Dudley Baptist Church. Rev. Billy Daws will officiate. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:00 noon until funeral hour at the church.

Mr. Ware's grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
