Services for Mrs. Ruby Bailey Tyson, age 88, of East Dublin, will be held at 2:30 PM Tuesday, December 21, 2010, in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Kenneth Greene will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Tyson was born in Laurens County to the late Samuel A. Bailey and the late Donie Sheppard Bailey. She was a member of Pleasant Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cody Tyson, son, Kenneth Tyson, two brothers, Ray Bailey and Doyle S. Bailey, Sr., sister, Erna Walden and a brother-in-law, A.J. Tyson. Mrs. Tyson passed away on December 19, 2010. Survivors include one sister, Eunice Bailey Tyson of Dublin, three sisters-in-law, Margaret O. Bailey and Blanche Wagner both of Dublin and Jeffie Mae Smith of Macon, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
