Services for Ruth Moorman, age 68, of Dublin, will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, November 6, 2014, at Olivet Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Kyle Giddens, Rev. Michael Petty, and Rev. Bruce Mayhew will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour. Mrs. Moorman died Monday, November 3, 2014. Mrs. Moorman, born in Norristown, was a member of Olivet Baptist Church. She was office manager of Georgia Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center until her retirement. Mrs. Moorman was a mother who was dearly loved by her children and a woman whose walk with the Lord was faithful and consistent. She was an inspiration to all whose lives she touched. Mrs. Moorman was preceded in death by her parents, Archie Buford Hutcheson and Florrie Mae Stephens Hutcheson, and brothers, Paul Hutcheson, Harris Hutcheson, and Kermit Hutcheson. Survivors include her husband, Curtis Moorman, of Dublin; daughters, Christy Henderson (Rob) Jackson, of Nashville, TN, Ginger Henderson (Jason) Hester, of Albany; step-children, Rachel Moorman (Dwayne) Bassett, of Charleston, SC, Jon (Carra) Moorman, of Oakland, MD; grandchildren, Stephen Hester, Corinne Hester, Liam Moorman, Lanna Moorman, Aiden Moorman, Quinn Moorman, and Aubrielle Moorman. Edgar Blanchett, Prentice Harden, Waldo Pharis, Jack Campbell, Randy Jackson, and Henry Manning will serve as pallbearers. Roy Loftin, Russ Purvis, Ralph Hall, Bill Sills, and Rickie Evans will serve as honorary pallbearers.
