Services for Sandra Gail Spivey Etheridge, age 69, of East Dublin, will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, February 22, 2014, in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Ike Branch and Rev. Jason Patterson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Etheridge lived at 239 Ernest Stinson Road, East Dublin. She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Bessie Spivey of Dublin. She was retired from CSS Management of Dublin and a member of Pinehurst Drive Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Etheridge was preceded in death by her sister, Belinda Walker. Survivors include her children, Sheila Annette Etheridge, Pamela Etheridge (Charles) Horton, Robert Wayne Etheridge, all of Toomsboro, Tina Diane Etheridge, of North, GA, Joseph "Joey" Edward (Danetta Lara) Etheridge, of East Dublin; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Forbes, of Rentz, Peggy Crooms, of Cadwell, Kathy Cooper, of East Dublin, and several nieces and nephews. Charlie Josey, Corey Josey, Phillip Ayers, Austin Ayers, Charles Cooper, Chris Forbes, and Jamie Forbes will serve as pallbearers.
