Sara Minter Youngblood, age 80 of Dublin, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2015. Services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Graham Memorial Church of the Nazarene with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Janice Laster will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Youngblood was born in Laurens County to the late James Alva Minter and Susie Skinner Minter. She was a member of St. Paul Nazarene Church and retired from Mohawk Industries. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Curtis Sammons (Susan) of Dublin and Ricky Leon Sammons (Beth) of Milledgeville; sisters, Jackie M. Morgan of Fort Valley and Patricia A. Minter Duncan of Milledgeville; brother, James Milton (Betty) Minter of East Dublin; grandchildren, Ricky Lynn Sammons, Brandie Sammons and Anthony (Amanda) Sammons, all of Milledgeville and Tiffany Sammons (Marshall Petrey) of Dublin; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Christopher Gala, Lanier Cox, Ralph James III, Sammy Morgan, Bruce Morgan and Randall Minter.
