Scharline McDaniel Moore, age 88, of Dudley, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2017.

Services will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, November 9, 2017 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Gerald Frazier will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until funeral hour on Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Moore was born in Laurens County and retired from JP Stevens. She was a member of Dudley Baptist Church for over 60 years and a beloved mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Matthew McDaniel and Ada Arvillia Wood McDaniel and brother, Thomas Buford McDaniel.

Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Fowler Cox (Ford), of Green Cove Springs, FL and Dianne Fowler Moore, of Dudley; granddaughter, Dana Michelle Thomas, of Middleburg, FL, Janet Harrington Johnson (Philip), of Yosemite, CA, and Rebecca Harrington, of Suwanee; great-grandchildren, Shane Thomas Reaves, of Middleburg, FL, Ava Ciaran Baird, of Suwanee, Pearl Ludoskee Johnson, and Jude W. Johnson, both of Yosemite, CA; brother, J.D. McDaniel, of Milledgeville; special friends, James Robert and Essie White.
