Graveside services for Sheila Larson Evans, age 52, of East Dublin, will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Nolan McDaniel will officiate. Ms. Evans died Monday. Ms. Evans was born in Dublin and was a member of the Baptist faith. She worked as a mender at Forstman. She was preceded in death by her father, Rodney Allen Larson. Survivors include her daughter, Tracy Evans Brown, of Dublin; mother, Jean Bracewell Larson, of Dublin; aunt, Joan Bracewell, of East Dublin; brother, Stephen Allen Larson, of Glenwood; nephew, Bret Larson, of East Dublin; companion of twelve years, Mervin Wilkes, of East Dublin; step-children, Charles Joseph Wilkes, of Adrian, and Heather Grace Wilkes, of Dublin; and cousin, Bobby Davidson, of Dublin. Bobby Davidson, George Egas, Brian Westberry, Glen Sterling, Billy Evans, Donald Bracewell, and Jr. Powell will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
