Shirleen (Osborne)
Davidson
Aug 16, 1943 — Aug 10, 2026
Shirleen Osborne Davidson, lovingly known as Shirleen, age 82, of East Dublin, Georgia, passed away on August 10, 2026, after a life marked by faith, devotion, and kindness.
Shirleen was born on August 16, 1943, in Wauchula, Florida, to the late Roy C. Osborne and the late Mary Eunice Spillers Wood and Ira Wood. She was a loving and kind woman whose gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. Her life was centered on her family, her faith, and the simple joys that brought her happiness each day.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Roy Osborne and Buddy Wood; her daughter-in-law, Cindy Davidson; and her great-grandchildren, Kenneth Davidson, Jr. and Weston Edge. She is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, Jerry Davidson; her children, Tim Davidson of Eatonton, Georgia, Ken Davidson of Ohio, Jeff Davidson and his wife Sue of Dexter, Georgia, and Tonya Fulghum and her husband Dale of East Dublin, Georgia; and her sisters, Ann Morton and her husband Mike of Rentz, Georgia and Bessie Asp and her husband Carl of Lenoir, North Carolina.
Shirleen was a cherished grandmother to Tyler Davidson, Miranda Davidson, Crystal Davidson, Christopher Davidson, Hunter Davidson, Sydney York and her husband Cory, Abbey Phillips and her husband Joseph, Mitch Edge and his wife Logan, Misty Edge, Mitch Fulghum and his wife Stacy, Jason Fulghum and his wife Hali, Ashley Fulghum, and Harley Fulghum. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Jacob Edge, Drake Morgan, Aliyah Morgan, Westlyn Edge, Charlie Blake Edge, Preston Davidson, Adden Davidson, Annie Phillips, Avery Phillips, Bailey Phillips, and baby York, who is due in November. Her family was the center of her world, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Shirleen worked in insurance for many years with Lovett Insurance and later retired from Geico Insurance Company. She was known for her strong work ethic, her dependable nature, and the care she showed to those around her. In her later years, she devoted herself to raising her great-grandson, Jacob Edge, a role she embraced with deep love and commitment.
A faithful Christian, Shirleen was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Her faith was an important part of her life and guided the way she loved and served others. She found joy in reading and in watching the Atlanta Braves with her sweet husband, and these quiet pleasures reflected the contentment and warmth that defined her days.
Shirleen will be remembered for her loving heart, her kind spirit, and the steadfast devotion she showed to her family and friends. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched in the love, she gave so freely throughout.
The family would like to thank Family Hospice especially, Bekka Dixon, Danee Brooks, and Erica Walker.
