Shirley was born in Six Mile, SC, on December 9, 1934, to the late Baxter C. Edens and the late Dessie D. Edens. Shirley graduated with honors from Furman University, majoring in Home Economics. She was married to her devoted husband, Ronald Wilson, for 64 years. Dublin became their home in 1976, when Ronald joined Southeast Paper Company. They also helped host a couple's prayer group with dear friends for over 40 years.
Mrs. Wilson was active in her community as a member of the Dublin Service League. Her most rewarding service was volunteering at Save a Life for many years.
