Graveside Services for Sylvia Carol Waid, age 66 of Orlando, FL will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Brother Rocky Mercardo will officiate. Mrs. Waid was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard "Bud" Waid and daughter, Adrienne Waid. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 18, 2012. Survivors include a daughter, Pam (Glenn) Davis of Orlando, FL; son, Mark Waid of Orlando, FL; two grandsons, Ryan (Shelley) Waid of Statesboro and Royce Waid of Dublin; three granddaughters, Collette Tank and Deborah Tank, both of Dublin and Amy Reedy of Warner Robins, and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 23, 2012 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
