Services for Tammy J. Ward, age 58, of Sandersville, will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 17, 2017, in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. W. L. Currie and Rev. L. T. Logue will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Ms. Ward died Monday, August 14, 2017.

Ms. Ward was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lawhorne; father, McKinney Ward; uncles, Larry Brown, Donald Brown, Dearl Brown, Carl Brown, and Clifford Brown; and cousin, Chuck Brown.

Survivors include her mother, Lynell Brown, of Sandersville; step-father and step-mother, Johnny and Glenda O'Quinn, both of Sandersville, son, Billy (April) Hurt, of Milledgeville; brothers, Joseph O'Quinn, Terry O'Quinn; and sister, Vicky Cole.

Ricky Brown, Tony Brown, Daniel Brown, Eric Brown, Donald Brown, Jr, and Terry O'Quinn will serve as pallbearers.
