Graveside services for T.B. King, age 77, of East Dublin, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 5, 2012, at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Curtis Warnock and Simon Yoder will officiate. Mr. King passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2011. Mr. King was born in Swainsboro, Georgia. He was the son of the late T.B. King, Sr. and the late Janie Kersey King. He achieved the grade of engineer in the U.S. Merchant Marines. He also worked at Robins Air Force Base and retired from the Carl Vinson V.A. Medical Center. He was a farmer, resident of the Buckeye community for more than 50 years, and a member of the First Baptist Church of East Dublin. He is survived by his wife, Jackie King of East Dublin; son, Tommy King (Jennifer) of East Dublin; grandchildren, Jenna Rowland, Josh Rowland, and Jolie Rowland, all of East Dublin; brother, Dan King, Sr. (Levada) of Dublin; sister-in-law, Linda McCullars (Charles) of Dublin; a niece, nephews, great-nephews, and great-nieces. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to the charity of your choice in memory of Mr. King.
