Services for Thomas Ethridge Warren, age 87 of Rentz, will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Baker Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Rentz City Cemetery. Rev. Joey Diers and Rev. Jeff Handley will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday at the church from 1:00 PM until the funeral time. Mr. Warren died Wednesday, January 15, 2014. Mr. Warren, born in Rentz, retired from Bassett Furniture after thirty-six years of service. He attended Baker Baptist Church. Mr. Warren enjoyed coon hunting and spending time with his family. He wanted to let everyone know that he loved them. Mr. Warren was preceded in death by his parents, John Harvey Warren and Essie Mae Diers Warren; grandson, Josh Warren; brothers, Eldridge Warren, Aunniel Warren, and Elbert Warren; sisters, Christine Warren, Metty Whitehead, and Faye Gay. Survivors include his wife, Brylene Stevens Warren, of Rentz; children, Don (Cindy) Warren, of East Dublin, Arleen (Jay) Cameron, of Dexter, Glenn (Jill) Warren, of Dublin; grandchildren, Michelle Wilkinson, of Dublin, Daniel Cameron, Shay Cameron, both of Dexter, Jared Warren, of Dublin, Courtney Warren of Macon, Roxie Warren, Luke Warren, both of East Dublin; brothers and sisters, Faustine Evans, Audie Lee Herndon, Mildred Foskey, Albert Warren, Letty Stevens, Garland Warren, Linda Bates, all of Rentz; and great grandson, Aydon Warren, of Macon. Ronnie Bates, Chris Herndon, Peter Gay, Derrick Bates, Danny Earl Warren, Josh Maddox, Tony Mimbs, and Jimmy Foskey will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Baker Baptist Church.
